EVENTS PREVIEW: NEXT GENERATION NICOTINE DELIVERY USA CONFERENCE 2019 THE SECOND INSTALMENT OF NEXT GENERATION NICOTINE DELIVERY USA WILL TAKE PLACE IN MIAMI APRIL 30 AND MAY 1. BY STAFF REPORTER Next Generation Nicotine Delivery has firmly been established as an industry leader in forecasting the future of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) in the UK. The annual London-based conference always attracts an attendance from a multitude of areas in the vape, tobacco and technology spheres. Last year, conference organisers held the first of its events stateside. And on April 30 and May 1, the world’s leading vape companies and up and coming brands will arrive at the second instalment of this much anticipated event, this time in Miami. The London conference is credited with presenting a full programme of speakers, covering everything from the latest in technology – such as the route to medical licensing and booming trends such as CBD – to trends which may infiltrate and boost the vape economy. Across the Atlantic, the line-up is equally ambitious. According to organisers, “The event will bring together e-liquid and e-cigarette manufacturers from small-mid size and big tobacco companies to debate the most pressing issues the industry is facing.” Updates to global and national regulation, consumer trends and the distribution landscape will all feature, whilst the programme tackles: “The most pressing issues within the vaping industry and will leave the audience not only with actionable strategies to facilitate legal compliance but with greater insight into the components of commercial success.” In a vibrant, fast-paced industry such as the vape world, it’s rare that the most innovative minds get to gather in one place to discuss, debate and confer. This event will welcome a collective of 200 industry experts who will have the unique chance to network in the best conditions, 138 | VM22 while attending sessions on the US FDA’s PMTA regulations, exploring international sales opportunities and local and international regulation. After last year’s conference, organisers sought feedback from some of the companies who had representatives in attendance. The Packaging Research Institute said the inaugural US event was, “Enlightening, educational, and gained insight into the bigger picture.” And that’s exactly what organisers are hoping to bring the second time around. The second instalment of Next Generation Nicotine Delivery USA will take place in Miami April 30 and May 1. Vapouround is media partner to this event.
