For nine days and ten nights, a stunning fusion of video mapping, light installations and digital arts will complement a wallto-wall sound storm of cutting edge musical programming, with local and international performances all curated by our famed labels and promoters. Melbourne’s favourite chefs to produce a rotating selection of locally sourced cuisine in a festival for food: exciting, enticing and easy like a Sunday morning. Stepping up their game from the Collingwood street-food offerings, expect playful lunchtime share plates and dinner grazing menus, DIY cheeseboards and meat platters, with the tangy-sweet bite of chilled cider to wash it all down. Free to attend and open daily throughout MMW, People’s Garden will also feature free lunchbox live music sessions and daily live broadcasts from Triple R. Whether coming to one of the free or ticketed events, or simply looking for a lunchtime spot that’s mad-cap-cool, The Residence will provide a spring picnic wonderland of food, music, market stalls and more.
