Melbourne’s favourite rap blasting babes, the Hip Hop Hotties (HHH) are serving up a slamming soundtrack to get you sweaty at this all day, all night hip hop block party. The two-storey carnival will offer DJs, dancing and special projections care of HHH in-house video artist, Sheena Colquhon upstairs, and hair braiding, nail makeovers, a zine stall, second-hand clothing stalls and sneaker swap below. Hip hop showbags will be available for all, plus a hip hop goodie bag raffle, fresh fruit and street-style snacks on hand, and a limited edition run of special HHH t-shirts designed by local brand For the Homies on sale.

SATURDAY 23 NOVEMBER 3 PM – LATE GALLERY ONE THREE
Experience a spatial reinvention at this remarkable street party at Gallery One Three. Following a tangent from a presupposed ‘natural’ course of action, every aspect of this event becomes an enactive element for the execution of IN SITU artwork. As the day unfolds, artists will use live video and audio recordings to create site-speci?c exhibits within the adjacent gallery. At dusk, the laneway becomes a canvas for projection artist Nick Azidis (White Night, Gertrude St Projection Festival, Rainbow Serpent Festival) and installation artist Jack May, with unique performances by Melbourne’s DJs, live acts and sound artists.
