LOUNGE Co-presented with Overdrive & Lounge Supported by Cut Records & Bangin’ Radio PBS THE UV RACE THE CLITS BONNIWELLS HIEROPHANTS 9 PM Overdrive presents a celebration of Melbourne’s prevalent garage–punk and rock’n’roll scene. The ultimate party atmosphere will be provided by hardcore glam set The UV Race, a handful of limited edition records will be on offer from Cut Records, and DJs Grace Kindellem from PBS’s Bangin’ Radio and Nick Brown are on vinyl duties, playing an assortment of new and old 45s and LPs. THE LIBERTY SOCIAL Co-presented with Nihilistic Orbs & The Liberty Social JONNY TELAFONE ASPS REPAIRS SKY NEEDLE FORCES NUN WHITE HEX FOUR DOOR PRIMITIVE CALCULATORS 6 PM Celebrating the iconic Melbourne label Nihilistic Orbs, the Liberty Social stage will feature performances from every band on the label’s roster. This ?tting tribute will officially mark the end of the label. Standing in place of the now-defunct Chrome Dome, legendary act Primitive Calculators will add their post-punk snarling synth to the mix. THE MERCAT Co-presented with The Mercat FORCES KANGAROO SKULL OTOLOGIC ANDEE FROST 9 PM One of Melbourne’s favourite dance venues presents a selection of our city’s best dance music. Industrial dance duo Forces light up the basement with a stinging live set, joined by the techno inspired rhythm and sound of Kangaroo Skull.
