The night will feature dream-gaze Melbourne locals Lowtide, bluesy, melancholic out?t Hollow Everdaze, and fuzz-pop trio, Atolls.

Two jazz events in two performance rooms, hosted by one of Melbourne’s most iconic jazz venues. In one room, Gian Slater’s Vocal Project offers three handpicked vocalists performing original and re-worked pieces. In the other room, Melbourne International Jazz Festival’s featured artist, and winner of the PBS Young Elders Award, Tim Willis & The End give contemporary jazz an original twist.

Cherry Bar’s Soul In The Basement is the longest-standing weekly soul night in the world, running for a grand 14 years. In this special MMW incarnation, Soul Safari offers three of Australia’s best soul acts with The Bamboos vocalist Kylie Auldist and the Glenroy All Stars, rounded out by 24-piece all-girl teenage band Sweethearts and the award-winning Andrea Marr and the Funky Hitmen.
