MELBOURNE MUSIC WEEK 2013 is sure to intrigue, delight and bombard your senses. This year’s program features more than 110 events (half for free), with more than 230 artists over 10 days, hosted in 60 iconic and unexpected locations across the City of Melbourne.

Melbourne’s reputation as the music capital of Australia is taking centre stage this year. Many events are exclusive to Melbourne and all have a connection to our city. Plus more than 75% of the artists featured in the program are from Victoria. The home of Melbourne Music Week (MMW) will be a pop-up live music venue and entertainment precinct ‘The Residence,’ custom built by People’s Market. The impressive structure will feature video mapping, light installations and exciting music programming day and night, while the surrounding area will be transformed into the People’s Garden, an eclectic market space of food and retail offerings all curated for MMW. We encourage you to immerse yourself in MMW and discover the delights of Melbourne’s world-class music scene.
