When EMD Millipore scheduled their Global Sales
Meeting in Dublin, Ireland, they featured a truly
unique guest speaker. His name was simply The
Traveler, and he came from 100 years in the future.
Well, not really – but you’ll have a hard time
convincing the attendees for this event.
The key to this distinctive presentation came from
a set of unique expectations. From the Emerald
Isle setting to the focus on marketing challenges
that would carry the company’s brand into the
future, to the combination of two different sales
forces, atmosphere was crucial to success. EMD
Millipore wanted their attendees to have the
mental, and even emotional mindset that would
help them navigate the sales and marketing
environment of the future.
To make this happen, EMD Millipore selected a
business communication specialist who for years
has created exceptional presentations for them.
Media Matrix responded with a creative concept
that offered the kind of memorable experience that
would make this year’s sales meeting stand out for
everyone. That concept, however, was driven by
yet another challenge: the physical layout of the
main meeting room.
Business theatre stages generally follow a
traditional format, with the main stage in front of
