Substation Entry Course Overview: In order to carry out work in substations it is imperative staff have an awareness the environment and potential hazards inside. Examples of work include: painting, checking emergency lighting and servicing fire extinguishers, or escorting contractors such as gardening, pest control or cleaning. Who Is This Course For: This course is designed for staff who may occasionally or regularly enter substations to do work ( other than High Voltage work ) or to accompany an Authorised Person while High Voltage working or testing is being carried out.
