Assemblyman Dan Quart Talks To 7th and 8th Graders

by Josh Caplan, [email protected]

Assemblyman Dan Quart (73rd Assembly District) and an MDS alumnus (Class of '86) came to MDS to speak with our seventh and eighth graders after being introduced to the MDS delegation to Allbany in March. The delegation was there lobbying for support of Jewish day schools. Quart graduated from SUNY Binghamton and has a law degree from St. John’s University. He spoke to the 7th and 8th grade about public service and how the NY State government makes laws. He told them that the leadership lessons he learned at MDS helped him prepare for his career in public service.
