Parshat Metzorah 7:05 pm

This year’s dinner was very beautiful and definitely one to remember. Rabbi Gold, Eric Goldstein and Stephen Snyder (in honor of his wife Bluma) made outstanding speeches which were followed by a performance by the MDS choir. During the preformance, the choir sang a wonderful song that was composed by our very own Toyota. The song had a very meaningful concept: “Torah is the fire of freedom.”

This year, Rabbi Gold, Tamar and Eric Goldstein, and Bluma Snyder were honored. I think that Rabbi Gold deserved his honor because he contributes so much of his time educating us, the “leaders of tomorrow.” Bluma Snyder really plays an amazing role

in our school, as she welcomes everyone with a smile and reminds parents to say tehillim. Tamar and Eric Goldstein are obviously strong supporters of our community and are very generous with their time and knowledge.

Truthfully, everyone who helped create this year’s dinner should be honored for their amazing work. From the flowers to the food

to the fun entertainment, I give the 2014

MDS dinner five stars!!
