RRR Assembly in Full Swing
by Rabbi Ariel Cohen, [email protected]
Last Thursday, an assembly promoting
RRR (Ready, Respect, Responsible) was held in the Beit Midrash. The boys and girls in the middle school explained what it
means to be ready, respectful and responsible in school. Each grade adopted one of the "R's" and did their best to describe its manifestation in school.
The 6th graders performed a skit and sang a song describing how we can be ready every morning as we go to school and in school.
The 7th graders showed two videos in which they acted out scenes of
disrespectful behavior followed by improved respectful behavior. As you can imagine, it was hilarious. Another group of 7th graders showed a very thorough power point presentation explaining how to act respectfully and why it is critical for us to show respect.
