ABOUT THE PROGRAM
GROW OUR OWN: The McMinnville WORKS program is a Grow our Own initiative. By bringing talented people into the community, we hope to share why McMinnville makes a great home and attract talented workers. The McMinnville WORKS program is managed by the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership (MEDP) staff and coordinated by their intern. Within the program, interns learn more about McMinnville through company and site tours, meeting community leaders, and encouragement to get involved in community events. The program has received two awards since its inception: the 2015 Award for Business Education from the McMinnville Chamber of Commerce and the 2014 Oregon Economic Development Association Outstanding Partnership Award.
