Cada domingo, el Farmer’s Market se instala en El Pueblito,
de 11 a 14 horas, para ofrecer una excelente selección de pro-
ductos orgánicos locales, cervezas artesanales, ropa bordada a
mano y cosméticos naturales, entre otros artículos. El ambiente
festivo y los colores vibrantes reproducen a la perfección el
clima que se vive en cualquier mercado mexicano. Consejo:
llevar bastante apetito, ya que todo se antoja, y elegir algún
“recuerdito” con sabor local para llevar a casa.
THE BEST OF GOOD THINGS
Every Sunday the Farmer’s Market sets up in El Pueblito from 11 am
to 2 pm, offering a superb selection of local organic products, craft
beers, hand-embroidered clothing and natural cosmetics, among
many other items. The festive atmosphere and vibrant colors echo the
scene found at any of the markets found throughout Mexico. Here’s
a tip: arrive with an appetite, as everything is enticing, and pick up an
edible souvenir so you can take the taste of Mexico home with you.

Caminar o pedalear sobre una de las bicicletas que ofrecen en
forma gratuita los diferentes hoteles es una excelente manera
de relajarse y, al mismo tiempo, ponerse en contacto con el rico
entorno natural de Mayakoba. Para mejorar esta experiencia,
resulta una buena idea recorrer los cinco kilómetros del Nature
Trail, donde se pueden observar algunas de las 170 variedades de
aves o las 49 especies de mamíferos detectadas en los estudios
medioambientales de la zona.

Walking or pedaling one of the bicycles the hotels offer free of charge
is a terrific way to unwind while literally getting into Mayakoba’s lush
natural surroundings. To best appreciate the experience, take the
three-mile Nature Trail, to see some of the 170 types of birds and
49 mammal species detected by environmental studies of the area.
