The performances, along with the lighting, sound system and
the gorgeous Vegas Skyline mural that’s often used as the
stage’s backdrop all help make Myron’s Jazz Cabaret exude
nothing but top-notch class. During the shows you can dine on
light fare–various veggie, fruit, meat and cheese plates are
offered, along with sandwiches and desserts–courtesy of
Culinary Arts Catering. There’s a well-rounded menu of liba-
tions and the pricing for all of the above is very reasonable
when compared to a night of noshing on LVB! Ticket prices vary
by show but usually range from $15-$65 depending on seating
choice, and there’s not a bad table in the house! Bebop over to

Kelly Clinton’s Open Mic Cabaret –
The Bootlegger Italian Bistro
As any “Born and Raised” Las Vegan will tell you, “The Bootlegger”
is a Las Vegas institution where memories are created and re-lived.
The family owned and operated 24-hour lounge and restaurant
boasts some of the finest Italian dishes in the Valley along with old-
school entertainment that will have you missing the days of The
Rat Pack, Steve and Eydie and yes, even Charo, too!
Thanks to the affable hostess Kelly Clinton-Holmes, Open Mic
Cabaret has enjoyed enthusiastic crowds every Monday night from
9 p.m. to 11 p.m.-ish since 2009. This is Kelly’s second tour of duty at
the bistro, as she had a similar show that ended in 2007 before pop-
ular demand brought her return. The showcase allows talented
patrons to sign up and perform a song or two backed by a very tal-
ented three-piece ensemble (bring your sheet music!). One can also
opt to give the band a cocktail break by bringing their own instru-
mental music on CD. American Standards, Jazz, Contemporary and
an occasional pop hit are the music of choice, although occasionally
some comedy finds its way into the mix.
