The 2013 Gallup Great Workplace Award winners were determined by a panel of workplace experts , who evaluated thousands of applicants based on exhaustive workplace research . Results were compared across a workplace research database composed of millions of work teams in more than 100 countries . Transitions Optical is one of only 32 organizations to receive a Gallup Great Workplace Award for 2013 .
