Community welcomes King Gyros
K
ing Gyros is a family-owned
restaurant. We are a Greek family
who moved to Shelbyville a
few months ago. The local community
has welcomed us, not only as a business,
but most importantly as a family, which
is why we would like to express our
gratitude.
We opened King Gyros with the aim
to offer affordable but high quality, tasty
food, in a pleasant relaxing atmosphere.
King Gyros is a place where you will not
only find something to eat, but your place,
where you will always find a smile.
King Gyros offers a variety of food.
As our name suggests, our specialty is
the popular Greek Gyro, served with our
freshly made gyro sauce (tzatziki). We
carry the famous Kronos Gyro, the best
gyro that can be found in the country.
However, we are not all about the gyro.
We have much more; a little something
for everyone.
We serve BBQ ribs, tips
and chicken with our own
homemade BBQ sauce and
grilled chicken breast or half
a chicken with our Greek
lemon sauce. The all time
favorite, jumbo tenderloin,
has become one of our best
sellers as well as our new king
wings with our own dipping sauce.
We offer real Chicago style Italian beef
and America’s favorite, Chicago style, all
beef hot dogs along with freshly cooked,
all beef burgers. For seafood lovers,
we have catfish, perch, shrimp and cod
sandwiches. Finally, one can enjoy a Greek
salad with feta cheese or a salad with
grilled chicken or gyro meat. Our menu
also offers cheese sticks, mushrooms,
onion rings, zucchini, nuggets, sausages
and much more.
The BBQ sauce, lemon sauce, gyro
sauce (tzatziki), wing sauce and cole
slaw are freshly made by us with our own
homemade recipes.
