Y ears ago, when people would ask Capt. Casey Brunning where he’d caught so many fish, he and a couple of his buddies would answer, “Hurricane Bay.” Of course no one knew where that was, because they’d made up the name to keep others from their secret spots. So Capt. Casey would playfully tell them, “You have to look on a very old map to find it.” And that is how Hurricane Bay Charters got its name. Two years ago, Capt. Casey began running charters out of Delacroix with no advertising, and now he’s got more business than he could have imagined.
