Redfish anglers , the reds will begin their migration to the outer edges of the coastline to meet up with the migration of the mullet and shrimp once the first quarter moon passes this month . We will begin to have high tides during the daytime that will move the fish to main lakes and bays where major current points and islands will hold great numbers of fish . During this month , I try to key on areas that have high amounts of oyster shells along long jagged banks . These banks allow redfish to feed on crustaceans and mullet trying to find shelter in the oyster beds .
