Russell Prothero talks with Sarah Rowles , director of Q-Art in London , about her organisation that aims to demystify the art world and help artists from all walks of life .
How many of us artists have ever wondered about the nebulous inner workings of the art world ? Chances are it seems like a closed book . An impenetrable mystery . All most of us want to do is create art and not solve the unsolvable . However there is one woman who was determined to find answers to these questions and many , many more .
Sarah ’ s first brush with contemporary art was as a student searching for a suitable course to enrol in . In contrast to the more academic route of Art History study she found the world of fine art rather more baffling . Fine art was expression in a language that she didn ’ t understand .
Opting to study Art History Sarah shared some classes with her fine art counterparts . She hoped that this proximity would provide some insights into how the fine art students
