How did your business get its start?

I started a garden supply store and began to use just about
every item my distributors offered in my own garden. I
discovered two main things during this process: the amazing, positive effect that beneficial micro-organisms have
on plants and soil; and that there are not many effective
pest and mildew controls that don’t eventually cause other
problems, such as health concerns for us and our families, or
the creation of stronger, more resilient pests. I began studying soil microbiology, agriculture, soil remineralization and
bio-remediation to fill some much-needed gaps in what is
available in the horticultural markets.
