It’s a process that goes beyond the surface of skin and combines the natural healing power and wisdom of your body and mind. You might even feel it’s a spiritual journey to achieve beauty through this natural healing process.

You’ll notice, as you start a juice cleanse, that a shift occurs in your approach towards health, nutrition and beauty; renewed sense of vitality for life, love and empowerment.

If you’ve ever attempted a juice cleanse, then you know it’s not always easy. I’m constantly juicing for my clients, so it’s part of my daily regimen. I would like to share with you several tips that will make it easier and help you succeed;

Write it down. Write down your goals and keep them in sight. Write about why you want to cleanse and what will happen if you keep going down the path you’re on. Create a solid “why” foundation and don’t be afraid to get emotional. Many people have personal reasons why they need to clean their body. It could be an illness you want to overcome or that you’re unable to keep up with your energetic kids. Maybe your pants are a little tight, or you’re out of breath just climbing some stairs. Whatever it is, write down a clear goal or list of goals based on the reasons that made you decide to cleanse— and commit to it. Don’t let anything stop you!

Go Shopping. Make sure you have all the fruits and veggies you need BEFORE you start your cleanse. You do not want to go into a supermarket while you’re on a juice cleanse!

P & P (Plan and Prepare). When you come home from grocery shopping, wash and cut your goodies so they are ready for juicing in the morning. You can also make a juice at night and take it to work with you the next morning.

Be organized. Know exactly what you’re going to need to make juices the next day by reviewing your juice recipes beforehand.

Get a cleansing buddy. Find a friend who wants to cleanse with you. If you’ve got a friend who is also cleansing, then you have each other for support—and a little support goes a long way!

Reward yourself. Give yourself rewards for your milestones. You may buy a book you’ve wanted to read as a reward for getting through your first day. After a week, you may get a new blouse or a dress. Maybe go see a movie with a friend; just stay away from the popcorn stand.

Keep a cleansing journal. Write about your cleansing experiences and journal your obstacles, challenges and successes every day. Have an open conversation with yourself and face all your raw emotions. This is the ultimate way to rediscover yourself.

Use visualization. SEE yourself healthy, slim and Sexi. If the mind perceives, the body will give.

Tap into the power of affirmation. Know in your heart that you CAN do it and keep affirming yourself! My affirmation is - “ I totally and completely love and accept myself”.
