Behind the screen of life, thoughts are the real actors.

The events in our life are nothing but the solidified forms of our thoughts; they are only the outer shell of our thinking. We generally have no understanding of what causes things to happen in the way they do. It is thoughts that create everything phenomena. In reality nothing is accidental or happens by chance.

Whether we win the lottery, or meet or separate from somebody, whether there is an outbreak of an earthquake or hurricane – all things happen according to the exact law of thought.

The events are the result of the fine operations of the subtlest forces in the universe – thoughts. The secret of happiness, individual and collective is in projecting and living the most powerful, positive thoughts and in learning how harness the limitless powers of the mind.

Thought is the creative power behind the whole creation. Our past, present and future is nothing but the interplay of thoughts made manifest. Our deepest thoughts and the most cherished ideas mold life daily. There is nothing that we cannot accomplish in time if we were to employ this power wisely.

Applied to the world we live in today here what the great master Swami Sivananda says:

“How can we build a new civilization? By generating a new thought-force. How to build a civilization that will ensure the peace of mankind, the prosperity of society and the spiritual salvation of each individual?

By generating a thought force that will undoubtedly result in people enjoying peace of mind, that will instill in their hearts the divine virtues of compassion, service to their fellow brothers and sisters and an intense desire to realize their Highest Nature.

If a mere fraction of the wealth and the time spent on wasteful pursuits and destructive activities are directed to the generation of good thoughts, a new civilization will emerge right now.” Swami Sivananda

Building of a New Civilization

“Thought makes person. Person makes civilization.”
