Third, you must take care of your body. Feed your body healthy, nutritious foods that are natural and not filled with chemicals. Eat whole grains and organic foods. Learn how to feed and fuel your body for optimal performance and health.

Exercise is also a key ingredient for a happier and healthier life. Get your body moving at least 30-60 minutes 4-5 times a week. If possible, weight train and do cardiovascular exercises.

I recommend to start off with a simple walking routine before you decide to join a gym. Once you know that you have made the commitment to stick with it, then join a gym or buy some weights. It is very important to do a combination of weights and cardio for fat loss. If you join a gym, make sure you get a FREE consultation by a personal trainer, so you do not get hurt.

Fourth, be kind and loving to yourself everyday! This is so simple, yet it seems to be the hardest part for most people. Why are we NOT kind and loving to ourselves? Why are we all so filled with guilt, fear, anger, shame, and so hard on ourselves. We must change this, and start everyday with kind and loving thoughts towards ourselves.

Wake up everyday, look in the mirror and say, "I love you." Love yourself more than anyone else. Once you learn to truly love yourself, your life shifts dramatically. We all want to be loved by someone else, when loving ourselves is what brings us the joy and happiness that we are searching for.

Fifth, do something kind and loving for others everyday. Even if it is as simple as smiling at someone and saying "hello". Give someone a compliment. Buy a bottle of water for a homeless person, or some food. Volunteer at a shelter, or a children's hospital. When you give to others, this brings you gratitude.

We must all be grateful for what God has given us. Whether you believe in God, energy, or a higher being, something is giving us life and we must be grateful for it. Gratitude is a must, if you want to make a shift in your life to become happier.

These five easy and simple things to do on a daily basis create a major shift in your life and your happiness. Learn how to feed your mind, body, and spirit with positive affirmations. Too many people are stuck in ruts, and they continue to think and act in negative ways. Once we shift our way of thinking, our entire life will change. In order to shift your way of thinking, you must meditate.

Meditation will force you to listen to your truth, and your spirit will talk to you and guide you in the right direction. If you are feeding your body junk food, drugs, and alcohol, this will act against your true spirit. Your spirit, mind, and body want to be healthy and happy. Love yourself, feed yourself well, and treat yourself well, and you will see a big transformation.

"Just do it" is my motto.

Once you follow my simple guidelines, you will see a big difference in your life. You must stay consistent, and stick with it for at least three months before you see noticeable changes. If you continue on your path towards spiritual enlightenment, you will begin to feel inner peace.

With inner peace, comes joy, happiness, and self-love. When you achieve these things, you will be truly amazed at how loving yourself will bring you the greatest sense of true love that you can ever find. Namaste
