This free program runs for 8 weeks for ages 8 -12. Kids will participate in different activities
each week including Lego challenges, science & engineering related activities and crafts.
There are a limited number of spaces available and registration for the program is required.

This free 8-week program is for caregivers & babies up to 1 year of age. The program will
focus on developing early literacy skills through rhymes, stories and songs. Learn literacy
tips and information on special topics related to parenting in the early stages of childhood.

This free program is geared for pre-school age children. The kids will enjoy stories, songs
and crafts in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Each participating child will need a story time
ticket before entering the programming room. Tickets are only available at 10AM before each
story time from the Librarian.

This program runs for 6 weeks for ages 11+. You will learn the basics of knitting and make a
fun project to keep. 4 weeks will be dedicated to learning knitting skills and 2 weeks of help
to complete the project. Yarn will be provided but you will need to bring your own knitting
needles or purchase needles from the library for $5. More details on the size and kind of
needles to be provided at registration. Register at the Martensville Library.

ADULT LIBRARY BOOK CLUBS: Meetings 1 time/month
We now have 2 adult Book Clubs that meet 1 time/month & members take turns hosting
meetings and making reading selections. There is a Wednesday group and a Thursday
group and each makes different book selections. If you are interested in joining, contact the
library.
