Royals On a Win Streak

The MHS Royals football team travelled to Esterhazy on Saturday to face the Warriors in the Provincial quarterfinal playoff game. They earned a spot by defeating North
Battleford on home turf 52-0 on October 22. The team kept that momentum going in Esterhazy despite the difficult field conditions. They posted the first points on the board early and
had a 10-0 lead at the half. The defense once again kept the opposition off the scoreboard as the Royals came home with the 27-0 win. It was an exciting game for the fans who made
the long trip.

they advance to
the semi-final
game against
Melfort. “This
was our first
provincial
playoff win and
well deserved
for the guys,”
commented
Evanisky.
