This is a huge excitement for the students of Venture Heights. The Marion Graham Senior Jazz Band shared their excellent talents with the students. Students were able to get a closer look at a variety of instruments. Students were also able to prepare themselves for what they have to look forward to over the next few years. At Venture Heights we truly value the benefits of learning music through instrumental instruction. Some of those benefits are: learning to be patient and persistent with difficult tasks, learning to be a part of a group that comes together to make music, learn how to problem solve, develop curiosity and cultivate grit. We look forward to sharing our talents with our community next year! ABOVE: VHS students listened intently to the Marion Graham Band. Spring Festival at VHS It was an evening of jumping in the bouncy castles, playing games, snacks, face painting, Henna art, silent auction, exploring the fire truck, and many more! Fun was had by all. ABOVE & BELOW: There was something for everyone at the VHS Spring Festival. ABOVE: Picking ducks at the VHS Spring Festival! LEFT: This past weekend, Camryn and Janae (both in grade 4) and are neighbours, set up a lemonade stand during their parents’ garage sale in Martensville. They made $32.00 and donated it to the school. What a thoughtful idea. Great job girls!!!!!!!
