Martensville Farmer’s Market
Gearing Up For Another Year

The Martensville Farmer’s
Market will soon be starting
up once again, and those
involved are excited to be
bringing new and exciting
things to the weekly event.
The Farmer’s Market
will be taking place every
Tuesday from June 21st to
August 30th and will be
open from 10am-2pm.
This year the Farmer’s
Market will be located at
the curling rink, with a
Grand Opening celebration
taking place on June 28th.
The Grand Opening will
have extended hours from
9am-4pm that day, and
there will be a pancake
breakfast available from
9am-11am. Be sure to
bring the whole family
as there will be a face
painter, as well as other
fun activities for the kids.
Each week, the Farmer’s
Market will feature special
guests showcasing their
talent and abilities at the
market. “Some things we
are looking into for this
is a gymnastics demo, a
yoga demo, a cupcake
decorating class and a
service dog demo. We are
looking for others who
want to showcase what
they do as well,” Krystal
Selinger,
Martensville
Farmer’s
Market
organizer, stated.
Selinger explained that
they are still looking
for vendors who are
interested in showcasing
their homemade goods,
especially those who
offer produce and fruit.
“We are hoping to
find some community
service
groups
to
provide lunches for us,”
Selinger added.

Martensville
Information & Visitor
Centre (MIVC) hosted
an open house and free
BBQ June 7th, 2016. The
MIVC wants to share all
it has to offer with the
residents of Martensville
along with any visitors
to our fair city.
The MIVC is located in the
Martensville Civic Centre
in room #2 at 66 Main
Street. People were given
the opportunity to enjoy
a free BBQ along with
refreshments. T
