Martensville Youth Place Well in Saskatoon Track Meet

Carlie Meikle participated in the Knight of Columbus Indoor Track Meet on January 27th and 28th . Meikle placed third at shot put and had a personal best of 8.39m .
Breeze Baerwald of Martensville is also part of the Saskatoon Track Club . She has competed recently in the two Track and Field meets in Saskatoon at the Fieldhouse , the Sled Dog Jan 13- 14 and the Knights of Columbus Indoor Games Jan 27- 28 . She competed in a total of 8 events and placed or medaled in 6 of them with two gold , two silver and two bronze .

Triple Hat Trick for Martensville Bantam Tier 2 Team Janine Hayward , Martensville Messenger
The Bantam Marauders Tier 2 team coached by John Kachur were on fire at home when they defeated the Meadow Lake Stampeders 13-2 in the first round of provincial playoffs .
Three players had hat tricks for the team ; Ty Albrecht , Cole Duperrault and Holden Doell . Martensville returns to Meadow Lake on February 11th with an 11 goal lead in the two game total point series .
