The fishing in Delacroix and surrounding waters is great right now, when
you find the fish, you find a lot of them and
throughout the month of October it’s only
going to get better. The trout have begun
their transition inside and we are catching
them as close in as Lake Robin and even a
few in Shrimp Lagoon and Little lake but
it’s going to get better. The redfish are in
schools right now both in the shallow waters and off the wind blown points where
bait is being pushed up. So get the family,
pull the kids away from the phones and
video games, and make some memories
on the water that will last a lifetime, this is
the family month for fishing.
