This is an innovative, free online resource that helps students develop key digital and enterprise skills which have been identified as essential skills for life and work. The iDEA bite size badges are very flexible and can be accessed from home or via a mobile device. iDEA badges support both formal and informal learning – they have been mapped against the National Curriculum and the Skills Framework for the Information Age. Some examples of the different badges available include: social media marketing, cyber security, python coding, e-commerce and money management. For more information click on their logo or see @idea_award. iDEA is the digital and enterprise equivalent of The Duke of Edinburgh Award (the 'digital DoE') and on completion of each level students receive a certificate along with a Buckingham Palace compliments slip. The award aims to increase employment marketability in the Rewards Day All students took part in the 8-week Challenge in the run up to the Christmas holiday.
