Morning, Nick.
I read your post on HB5753 earlier and could not help thinking
about Bradley v. Milliken. Although I was one of the DPS
students who was bussed to John C. Lodge Elementary in
Redford when Robert Burns Elementary (now an EAA entity) in
Detroit was a quarter mile away, I am not an attorney.
I was wondering A) if HB5753 impacts either the new or old
DPS and B) if so, how does it serve high school students from
Detroit that currently are transported to schools in, say,
Bloomfield Hills?
Any feedback would be welcome.
