Temple Mall ’ s latest campaign points to a future in which tradition and technology blend seamlessly
Described as “ a stone ’ s throw away ” from the Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple , an iconic tourist attraction , and a go-to place for those seeking good fortune , Temple Mall ( Kowloon , Hong Kong ) rang in the Year of the Ox with a celebratory campaign . At the crossroads of tradition and technology , Blooming Bliss looked to help usher in a prosperous new year . Running January 29 through February 28 , the campaign offered a festive setting featuring a beautiful digital garden , a lucky draw , some symbolic ornaments , and top prizes .
The center ’ s PR brief highlighted an almost 16ft . -tall peach blossom wishing tree and a number of motionsensing blessing pinwheels arranged in a floral formation alongside a 4ft . - tall gold pinwheel that turned the atrium into a hall of good fortune . Designed by Lukfook Jewellery , the pinwheel was a strong point of attraction . While exploring the interactive garden , shoppers could create their own virtual wishing tag and upload that wish to a largescale screen found on the canopy .
In addition to the festive setting , Temple Mall celebrated the Lunar New Year with fortune forecasts by Mak Ling Ling , a leading fortune teller and entrepreneur in Hong Kong , giveaways totalling US $ 380,000 , and personalized , digitally printed
