MEET Tom Houtenbrink
From the first time Tom went sailing on Biscayne Bay, he knew life
would always revolve around the water and boats. Tom has held a USCG
Masters license for over 25 years and has operated power and sail yachts
throughout the U.S. East Coast, Bahamas and Caribbean.
Over the course of his career, he has operated a wide variety of yachts
from 30 feet to 105 feet in both the power and sail categories. This makes
Tom uniquely qualified to help his clients find the right yacht to take them
wherever they choose to go.
Tom began selling yachts in 2005, specializing in the luxury catamaran
market. After five successful years, he left the yacht business to start a new
career in the financial services industry. While the work was fascinating
and he achieved success, he knew his heart was in the boating world.
Tom found Denison in 2017, and Denison’s reputation in the industry and
Tom’s love of yachting were a natural fit.
Tom brings a lifetime of knowledge and expertise in yachting to all that
he does. Whether it is assuring your yacht gets the attention it needs, to
making it stand out against all others when buyers are looking, or finding
the perfect yacht to take you and your family on distant adventures, Tom
