In 2016 a research study was conducted on the factors associated with the cruise ship tourists’ sense of safety and security (Mambre, 2016) . The results showed that there were factors that were partially associated with the cruise ship tourists’ sense of safety and security: prior knowledge of the island, racial heritage of the cruise tourist, age, area of residence and travel experience. 18 Marketing For The Future
