The Plot:
Out-of-work violinist Erica Tim-
berly decides enough is enough. She
leaves her abusive boyfriend and flees the
big city, but then her car breaks down in
the middle of the night. Though wary of
men, she accepts help from Dylan
Haynes, a stranger driving by on the road,
and soon recognizes him as the sexy for-
mer drummer of her favorite indie rock

Erica collapsed on his chest, panting for air. “Thank you. I
needed this.” She kissed the line of his throat and shifted onto
the mattress.
He turned to face her and wrapped his arms around her
back, tucking her close to his chest. “I‟m here whenever you
need me. My body is at your beck and call.”
She chuckled, her cheeks hot. “As wonderful as your body
is, I much prefer the man inside it.”
“Good answer.” Dylan kissed the top of her head. “Sleep
now. I have you. Nothing bad will happen to you. I prom-
ise.”
Erica smiled, wishing they could stay entwined in each
other‟s arms for the rest of their lives.
