‘Cordies’ Old Boys
Skonk Nicholson 7s
The annual Skonk Rugby 7s was again sponsored by Nashua Maritzburg.
Having gown consistently over the past few years, the 2016 event included
44 teams, making it the biggest school 7s festival in KZN. This year,
the Skonk 7s was included in the Maritzburg College Family Day which
incorporated a Junior Social on the Friday evening, Fun Run, Bubble Soccer,
craft market, 7-a-side mixed hockey tournament, Spur KZN Inter-school MTB
Series race and boarder braai. The day was a great success and certainly is
something that will be included in the 2017 school calendar.
Another successful Skonk Nicholson 7s Challenge was held in 2016.
