College Choir
The College Choir perfomed at the ‘Capital Christmas’ concert in December at the Pietermaritzburg City Hall.
The school choir has had a year of rebuilding and development as the
numbers had been quite low in previous years. However, as the year has
progressed some enthusiastic members have recruited new members. I
am happy with the progress we have made this year, performing at the
school’s various functions. Our final concert of the year, which was the
‘Capital Christmas’ carols concert at the City Hall in collaboration with

GHS, went off very well and we hope to make this an annual event. Our
charity for the event was Msunduzi Hospice. We managed to raise R6 300
for the organisation purely from collections at the door. The Gospel Choir
has shown great commitment in 2016 and hosted the annual Gospel Choir
Evening and sang at numerous events including the ‘Capital Christmas’
concert.
