Dan Grading Examination and was placed in the top three in all his divisions,
bringing eight medals home to South Africa: five gold, two silver and one bronze.

H Heeralal (Third Form) travelled to India to represent
South Africa in the India International Karate Tournament.
His selection came after his excellent performance at the
national tournament where he was placed first in Kata
and third in Kumite.
