WAT E R P O L O R Williamson: A strong player with great vision and the ability to read a game. This coupled with his accurate shot made him lethal on attack and he was the top goal-scorer for the season. He shows great leadership qualities. K Walsh: He was a newcomer to the team, but his brief stint showed great promise and he will hopefully carry it into next season. G Lesur: A young player who was unsure of his capabilities in the pool, but at times surprised himself with his great skill and ability. He has a bright future and I look forward to the player he will become. C Slater: A confident player who was sure of his ability and was always willing to learn. He showed great strength in the pool. He achieved great things in 2016 and I look forward to his future. M Ford: A quiet and unassuming player who needed to back his abilities. He showed great potential and was a tough defender. He will be a force in the future. His fitness needed some work but he will become a very well-rounded player. L Robinson: A young player with a bright future, he needs to keep working on his skill set and confidence in shooting. He has great potential. K Raw: A very talented young player with a keen eye for the sport. He has the skills and ability to become a top quality player. He needs to work hard and remain dedicated. L Lenz: A strong keeper with good reflexes. He will be tough to score against and I look forward to seeing him play in the future. Unfortunately they had a change of coaches between the first and fourth terms and this broke the continuity in the team dynamics. Nevertheless, a number of boys showed exceptional talent, namely L Robinson, L Lenz, K Raw, T Prinsloo and B Webster, and played a number of games for the first team. We look forward to watching their progress over the next few years. L Robinson became a regular member of the first team.
