be possible to import and export of goods
necessary to maintain the dynamism and
trade in today’s world scale.

In this context, the Master Program in Maritime and Port Management includes the
following areas of study:
Maritime economy. Development, management and sustainable port operations;
operating costs of freight and chartering of
ships; traffic; special cargo; marine insurance; complementarity maps of foreign trade;
job skills; port security; life at sea and protection of the marine environment.
Competitiveness. The Porter Diamond
model (research methodology Academic Network of the Institute for Strategy
and Competitiveness at Harvard Business
School); business creation; systemic competitiveness of regions; production chains
(clusters).
Entrepreneurship. Research methodologies; maps complementarity with strategic
partners in foreign trade of Ecuador in the
Pacific Rim and Asia Pacific Regionalization.
Studies and teaching-learning environment
will drive the student to build a personal
project and a vision of his or her future and
