Spring is just around the corner, and the Dublin Chamber has some great events that are sure to chase away those gray winter skies! Kick off spring by joining us at the Business After Hours & Business Person of the Year Reception on March 19 hosted by Columbus Marriott Northwest. At the event, you will get the opportunity to meet the 2019 Business Person of the Year award recipient, Lisa Armitage with Goldfish Swim School. Lisa is a great example of how getting involved and giving back can mean so much to a community. The Leadership Dublin Class of 2019 is also doing their part to get involved in Dublin. This group of area executives is working on team projects including Dublin’s Age Friendly Business Certification, Dublin Community Foundation’s Marketing and Social Media Plan, and the Dublin Chamber Community Service Day 20th Anniversary Celebration. In addition, Leadership Dublin class members are putting the finishing touches on Dublin’s Community Service Day, which will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. This event provides a perfect opportunity for you to get involved in our community and help local senior citizens and others in need with outdoor spring clean-up assistance. Last year, more than 400 volunteers assisted at 70 work sites. Sign up to volunteer at DublinChamber.org/CSD. I look forward to seeing you out and about in Dublin this spring!
