rag & bone has launched its first
eyewear collection for both men
and women with partner Safilo,
the fully integrated Italian eyewear
creator, manufacturer and world-
wide distributor.
Combining British heritage with
a modern and edgy New York at-
titude, the eyewear collection for
spring/summer 2018 encompasses
a total of 31 styles, including eight
women’s and nine men’s sunglasses
as well as seven optical frames each
for men and women. Four design
codes are constant throughout the
collection: British, Americana,
Military and Sport.

In keeping with the brand’s focus on
functionality, a TORX six point
screw-head hinge system is utilized
across the collection for all optical
frames and select sunglasses. This
design detail protects the hinges
and acetate while making the frame
easier to adjust for a customized
fit. A special screwdriver toolkit
will be provided to retailers to

The brand’s iconic five daggers
motif has been incorporated into
the collection by serving as the
design detail inspiration for the
three distinct product families:
