Vice Captains Report
PORT SHEPSTONE COUNTRY CLUB - 26 OCTOBER 2017
It has been a busy and eventful month since our
last game and lots has happened.
We have had our AMF pre-events and golf day,
a few important birthdays as well as an
awesome well represented Swazi Swagger.
Many thanks to Jesse, Ryan and the friendly
staff of PSCC for their part in preparing an
awesome venue for the October monthly game.
Spring has sprung and the course looked
awesome after our recent rains.
The change in playing date inevitably did not
suit all and resulted in a smaller than usual
field, but the players did not disappoint and
even delivered the customary 41 pointer. Well
done Corjan.
A friendly nomadic welcome to our new
inductees, Vusi Maphumulo, Ulric Gous and
Jacques Cilliers.
participated in our annual Andrew Mentis Golf
event on the 24 th of September 2017. The event
that took place over the long weekend at Port
Shepstone Country Club had a field of 107
players and (thanks to you all) was a huge
success.
Thanks to Ryan Ringo of Mthunzi Hotel who
hosted our awesome AMF whisky tastings that
were presented by the famous Tommy Larkan
on Friday evening the 22 nd and Saturday
evening the 23 rd of September (you are a
superstar my brother).
Thank you for your positive attitude and
willingness to assist me when called to do so!
See you at Umkomaas next month!
Regards
Roelof Meyer
Thanks to Tony and Ryan for assisting me to set
up the altar and prizes.
Thanks to Allison and her team for all their
efforts to ensure a smooth and efficient
prizegiving. Prize giving went like clockwork
as usual and was concluded by 18h00.
Job well done to our fines master Andrew
Pastellides, our stand in photographer Ryan
Keys and our professional slide show presenter
Howie Crouch.
Thanks to all nomads for your contribution and
friendly assistance in all efforts to better our
club. “You rock my brothers!!”
My sincerest thanks to my AMF committee and
all whom so generously donated, sponsored and
VC Roelof receiving a Glenbrynth gift
