What I enjoyed most about
Academy was the learning sessions.
Everyone shared about what they
do differently in their practices.
It was amazing to gain new selling
techniques from others. A room
of brainstorming and sharing leads
to more sales in your own office.
I am so very excited to try the new
Transitions EXTRActive in Brown.
This is a nice addition to the family.

First, in the academies that I have
attended I like the fact that Transitions is out to help the attendees be
better business people as a whole.
For this past academy, I really enjoyed the speaker, Sally Hogshead.
Her, "How to Fascinate" was great.
Knowing your archetype and how
it can work with others was very
interesting. I also enjoyed the workshop, 'Strategies for Influencing
Others,' which helped you use
this new information from Sally
with your current workplace
opportunities.
The Transition workshops were
I enjoyed networking with
colleagues from all over North
America at Transitions Academy.
The focus may have been on
Transitions lenses but I loved the
message from everyone involved
in the event that the patient
experience and their access to
great vision is the end goal.

customer engagement-themed
panel sessions, where attendees
were able to hear tips and ideas
from the "best of the best" -the 2014 Transitions Awards
finalists. This year we wanted
to create more opportunities
for attendees to learn from each
other and the panels helped
us achieve that. Academy also
gave us a chance to celebrate

I had about the tint level of some
of the products, it was hard to
tell which Transition product
was which. The team exercises/
competitions were great, you got
to work with all different people
in the field and accomplish some
specific tasks under pressure.
Last, I like the panel discussions
Transitions had with some of the
most successful people in the field.
Hearing their stories was pretty
powerful as well as their advice.

from Sally Hogshead on How
to Fascinate. In addition there
was a wealth of information on
Transitions products and overall
industry trends. Academy is
an opportunity to network with
hundreds of other Optical
Professionals, and is one of the
most enjoyable events on the
Optical Industry Calendar.
Looking forward to more from
Transitions in the coming years.

I enjoy the opportunity to meet
with my industry partners at
Transitions Academy. It's an
excellent chance to learn about
the latest technology as well as
see the industry working as
a team to help people see better.
