From this point forth, I would like to mention some cultural heavyweights and titans, whose works influenced my intellectual and spiritual development and in whose writings I seem to recognize central principles of quantum physics and philosophy. Plato was the first philosopher to put forward the idea of a “common cosmic field” and noted the fact, that our senses are hindering us to perceive reality and the things “as they really are”. Robert Musil notes in his “The Man without Qualities”, that “The truth is not a crystal that you can put in your pocket, but an infinite liquid that you fall into." Austrian author Hermann Broch offers a subjective, interiorized image of the world through a bundle of simultaneous images, that form a holistic image. He created a world in which, fragmented time is being annulled and replaced by an endlessly flowing river.
