but most only have one or two solutions to support this principle. DLS, on the other hand,
works closely with the Environmental Agency
and within European Directive requirements
to offer the complete industrial waste management solution using the company’s proven fivepoint strategy plan towards true "Zero Waste".
This includes patented binders for sludge
recycle and reuse, bi-product upgrading
(Millscale), waste/aggregate recycling, landfill
management (including transfer sorting station
management and landfill site construction and
mining), and water recycling. Within each strategy there are multiple processes to recover,
reclaim and recycle assets, which provide a
complete solution to nearly all industrial waste
streams and, when combined, have helped to
save more than £25m for clients.
Most recently, DLS has partnered with specialist cement manufacturer Cenin Ltd to provide a new service to the construction, recycling and civil engineering industries. DLS Soil
Stabilisation provides a long history of innovative and effective engineering solutions, a time
served and dedicated workforce, and a comprehensive plant resource with Cenins classleading low carbon manufacturing processes to
provide cutting edge solutions to many problems. This includes wet, waterlogged sites,
where material is deemed unsuitable for reuse, the importation of quarried aggregates,
dealing with contaminated land and logistical
nightmares involved with muck-away and the
add-on cost of landfill tax.
