Precolor Tank Division is part of a privately owned group of
companies, and has served the water industry for almost 40 years.

This year Precolor has reached a
milestone. In September, the company, which produces high quality
products to serve the water
industry, will celebrate 40 years in
business. Originally based in
Wolverhampton, Precolor has grown substantially as a result of creating long lasting
relationships in the industry and providing
its customers with reliable solutions they
can depend on. Part of a privately owned
group, Precolor has specialist knowledge in
the water and chemical storage field and
has been a family owned business for three
generations. With a dedication to hard
work and a strong commitment to its
clients, the business has established a
strong reputation within the industry.
The company has been doing very well in
recent times so Sharon Barker, General
Manager, reflected on where it all began: “The
Company was originally a partnership called
Precolor Products that made swimming pools
and mannequins. In 1975 the decision was
made to form a limited company. As the company expanded bigger premises were needed
which resulted in a move to Rose Hill, near
Market Drayton. Then in 1979 a final move to
our present site in Newport Road, Market
Drayton. We are extremely proud of achieving
this huge milestone, 40 years is a huge achievement for any Company.”
By manufacturing a large range of tanks
that vary in size, the company has been able
to excel in the current market as the variation of products it offers is quite substantial. Making tanks that are able to hold up
to 760,000 litres, the company has products that appeal to a wide range of clients.
Sharon stated: “We can manufacture GRP
tanks as one piece, semi sectional and fully
sectional.”
