water. The collaboration has a significant infrastructure plan and it has certainly never been
carried out on this kind of scale by any British
collaborations before.
“We have already seen the benefits of
what our work can do in several different
communities so far. We plan to implement
many more clean water-drinking areas all
over India and there is no reason why these
methods cannot work in other countries too
once the project in India is fully up and running. We have both Welsh and UK government backing behind this collaboration –
that’s very important for this sort of project to
help get things off the ground.”

RoSPA and also part of the Welsh Sustainable
Development Charter which makes sure that
the principles of safe working practice are
being carried out. Our company has also
passed an audit in order to be part of Achilles,
which means we can supply directly to the UK
utility market. We are also a member of IMWA,
which is a global mining body and we are one of
the largest partners of that group. Essentially
the group looks for new technologies to solve
the huge problem of acid mine drainage which
is the second biggest global problem after global warming. Working with various university
groups we aim to find strong technologies
which could help this cause.
“I think that being part of various associations is important as it shows our staff that we
care and that we are extremely committed to
the company. We are definitely very involved in
associations and I think that we operate within
