FarWest Fabricators
Moxee
FarWest Fabricators was founded in 1983 to
make wood stove inserts. It now manufactures
metal parts for everything from espresso
machines and wheelchairs to complex
telecommunications devices. This 35-year-old
employer emphasizes training and growth
potential for its 100 employees.
Neri Cisneros has worked on the factory floor at
FarWest Fabricators in Moxee for seven months.
Her daughter, who has been a welder at FarWest
for a year and a half, recruited her. What does
the job mean to her?
“Everything,” Cisneros said.
State Rep. Bruce Chandler,
R-Granger, joined the
tour and signed the bus
at FarWest Fabricators
on the sixth day of the
Manufacturing Week bus
tour.
