For 35 years, Central Bean Co. has been processing the legumes of
central Washington. This family-owned business has been expanding into
international markets, with Australia as one growing customer.
Samuel Gonzalez III (center) holds a handful of
garbanzo beans that have been processed at Central
Bean Co. in Quincy. The company employs 21 people,
processing about 20 different kinds of beans grown in
the Columbia Basin.
